Arts Alumni Community
The Faculty aims to foster a life-long relationship with our graduate community. Arts Alumni are part of a community of over 30,000 other Arts graduates worldwide.
Over its 150 year history many leaders in business, government and academia have studied in the Faculty of Arts. Celebrated graduates include:
- Germaine Greer (Academic)
- Barry Humphries (theatre and television performer)
- Jana Wendt (television journalist)
- Magda Szubanski (television entertainer)

Alumni Events
The Faculty holds a number of events including seminars throughout the year which alumni are invited to attend. In addition, the Faculty holds an annual alumni event to bring together Arts alumni who graduated within a particular time frame.

Subscribing to the Melbourne University Magazine and GradNet
The Melbourne University Magazine is published each year and sent free of charge to all alumni and friends for whom the University of Melbourne has a valid postal address. The 2005 edition was sent to over 140,000 addresses in more than 120 countries. You can also download a copy of the magazine or read it online.
GradNet is a monthly electronic newsletter for alumni of the University of Melbourne. It contains University news, alumni profiles, opportunities and offers. You can also view the latest edition online.
