Course Planning & Enrolment Variation (for already enrolled students)

As a student it is your responsibility to ensure that you complete all the administrative requirements as well as the academic requirements for your degree.

What do we mean by administrative requirements?

This includes doing things like selecting your subjects each year; submitting information on-line and in paper form to ensure that your enrolment is correct; have notified the University to changes to your personal status ie address, contact details etc.

There are possible penalties and fines for not completing certain components by the dates requested.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR 2008

Semester 1
Last date to add subjects in Semester 1 Friday 14 March
Last date to delete subjects, take leave of absence and discontinue in Semester 1, without incurring:
  • a Withdrawn comment on your academic record
Friday 14 March
  • a HECS/Fees liability
Monday 31 March
  • a grade on your academic record
Friday 9 May
Semester 2
Last date to add subjects in Semester 2 Friday 8 August
Last date to delete subjects, take leave of absence and discontinue in Semester 2, without incurring:
  • a Withdrawn comment on your academic record
Friday 8 August
  • a HECS/Fees liability
Friday 29 August
  • a grade on your academic record
Friday 10 October
Intensively taught subjects
Last date to delete Summer Semester subjects, Winter intensive subjects and subjects taught intensively during the semester without incurring:
  • a Withdrawn comment on your academic record
Census date listed on enrolment record
  • a HECS/Fees liability
Census date listed on enrolment record
  • a grade on your academic record
7 days after relevant census date
