Jobs for Arts graduates in this sector include:

- curriculum development, policy and research
- primary and secondary school teaching
- higher education lecturing and tutoring
(Some of these jobs require an additional teaching qualification.)
Ben MountfordInformation Officer, Discovery Centre, Melbourne MuseumBachelor of Arts (Honours) I had already completed a Bachelor of Arts and Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) elsewhere, but felt that Melbourne was the place to be to pursue a career in culture and the arts and to further my studies. As part of my Honours study I have been involved in fieldwork in the Castlemaine, Ballarat and Bendigo goldfields. These classes have given me real-life experience of the careers in cultural heritage and conservation that are available to Arts graduates. In my current work as an Information Officer in the Discovery Centre at the Melbourne Museum, I am constantly applying the skills I have developed through studying history to research and resolve public enquiries. |
