Local students

You are a local student at the University of Melbourne if you are an Australia or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident or the holder of a permanent Humanitarian Visa. Local students apply by completing an online application form. Applications should be submitted by 31 October (round 1), 30 November (round 2) for semester 1 intake, and by 31 May for semester 2 intake.

International students

You are an international student at the University of Melbourne if you are not an Australia or New Zealand citizen, or are not an Australian permanent resident or holder of a permanent Humanitarian Visa. International students can apply for a graduate course online, via an overseas representative, or by post.
