Details

The Amy Gaye Cowper Tennent Memorial Scholarship is open to graduates of the University of Melbourne who are pursuing postgraduate studies in English Literature in the Department of English. Consideration will also be given to applicants who wish to pursue their studies at an overseas university or other tertiary institution. The Scholarship is available initially for one year. The Council of the University has the discretion to recommend the extension of the Scholarship for a further period. The scholarship may be held concurrently with any other award.

Eligibility

The Scholarship is open to:

Preference is given to applicants who wish to further their studies and pursue a formal course pertaining to their area of specialisation as, either in Australia or overseas, or in consultation of overseas archives and other resources.

Part-time students should note that the University is required to withhold tax from scholarship payments.
