Details

The Anna Lodewyckx Icelandic Scholarship is open to graduates or final year honours undergraduates of Australian Universities who have a knowledge of Old or Modern Icelandic.

A minor scholarship may be awarded towards costs associated with study in Iceland. The Scholarship requires that the candidate shall undertake to reside in Iceland and to attend an approved course at the University of Reykjavik, except when his or her field study necessitates research in the countryside.

For the purposes of this regulation a Scandinavian country is Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland or the Faroe Islands.

The judges' decision will be final and the University reserves the right not to award the prize in the event it is considered that no work of sufficient merit has been submitted.
