Faculty-wide email lists

The following email lists provide important communication links between the Faculty Secretariat and key professional staff contacts in schools, departments and faculty centres of the Faculty of Arts. These lists can be used by any authorised staff member of the Faculty to inform key contacts regarding the topics listed below. All managers, both departmental and faculty, receive all information as well as staff nominated by them. Members of the Faculty Secretariat may post to these lists.

Note: Arts Secretariat staff are not included in some of the lists below (marked *) and should be notified directly of relevant matters by emailing secretariat@artsit.unimelb.edu.au

All Arts staff: ARTSstarters

The main regular source of news for all staff within the Faculty is via the ARTSstarters newsletter. ARTSstarters is published fortnightly to the Faculty of Arts website. All academic staff, general staff and honorary fellows are notified by email. ARTSstarters publishes:

Any staff member may contribute items for inclusion in ARTSstarters. Items for the forthcoming fortnightly bulletin can be submitted to Michael Warner m.warner@unimelb.edu.au. Please keep submissions as brief as possible (preferably less than 50 words) and include website addresses or contact details to provide further information.

All university staff: Staff News

Staff News is an email bulletin is sent to all university staff every Friday afternoon. To include an item in this bulletin send an email to staff-news@unimelb.edu.au by 5pm Wednesday.

No formatting or attachments. Please keep contributions as brief as possible. Web links for further info are preferred. You need to provide a title for the item, a source (name & department) and a website/email/phone for more information. Please note that all items will be edited for length and style. Technical language and jargon will be edited to plain English. View the contribution guidelines in full.
