Reporting requirements for recipients of grants
Research and Research Training Committee
Recipients of Faculty grants (e.g., Faculty Research Grant Scheme, Faculty Scholarships and Prizes, TRIPS and PhD Fieldwork Scheme) are required to provide a written report on the expenditure of research funds, and the progress of their research by 1st March in the year following the grant. See the contact list below for further enquiries.
Failure to provide a satisfactory report will render the recipient ineligible for further grants.
The reports will be considered by the Faculty Research and Research Tarining Committee (R&RT) and will form the basis for annual reports on research expenditure to the Central funding bodies of the University. The quality of your report(s), and therefore of the R&RT report, will play an important part in supporting the Faculty's case for research funding each year.
Length of Report
- Grants under $2,000 require a short report of approximately 100-200 words.
- Grants over $2,000 require a report of 300-500 words.
